Care Guide

Peter Charles Jewelry, created for a high goal lifestyle with exceptional materials & care. We offer some care advise & recommendations to keep your creations brilliant,
chukker after chukker.

CARNELIAN

Carnelian comes from the gemstone family of Chalcedony. Being a hardy stone, carnelian is perfect for daily wear, but we recommend caution against sharp blows or extreme temperature changes. We recommend cleaning with warm soapy water and a soft brush and pat dry with a soft cloth. We do not recommend playing polo or other physical activities in carnelian.

HOWLITE

Howlite is a soft stone distinguished by its gray streaks across a white base,  reinstatement of the pristine snow polo field. Over time, this stone evolves naturally and may develop a matte surface, which emphasizes its unique character.
As howlite is a naturally delicate stone, small scratches may appear on its surface. We recommend for cleaning use lukewarm, slightly soapy water and pat dry with a soft cloth. We do not recommend playing polo or other physical activities in howlite.

MALACHITE

Malachite is a soft stone distinguished by its green color streaked with harmonious light and dark lines, reinstatement of the polo field. Over time, this stone evolves naturally and may develop a matte surface, which emphasizes its unique character.
As malachite is a naturally delicate stone, small scratches may appear on its surface. We recommend avoiding all contact with water, as this could alter its brilliance. We do not recommend playing polo or other physical activities in malachite.

PEARLS & MOTHER-OF-PEARL

Derived from the sea, these remarkable gemstones are known for their lustrous shine and delicate, iridescent reflections. We recommend avoiding contact with water to prevent any damage to your creation. Pearls & Mother-of-pearl can be delicately cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. As pearls & mother-of-pearl is a naturally soft substance, it is susceptible to small scratches on its surface. We do not recommend playing polo or other physical activities in pearls or mother-of-pearl.
